Mark Wahlberg
Mark Wahlberg slams Saturday Night Live’s sketch of him talking to animals, entitled Barky Bark and the Donkey Bunch (where he was portrayed by Andy Samberg). During the New York Post’s Q&A with the actor (for a promo blitz for his upcoming movie Max Payne), he mentioned that he thinks SNL isn’t funny anymore.

O.J. Simpson
Former professional football player O.J. Simpson was found guilty on all robbery charges by the jury. Now one wonders if the jury really found him guilty on the charges, or just found this trial as the payback for his being acquitted from allegedly murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman (but he was found civilly liable for both deaths).

Locklear mug shot
It’s a very unflattering picture of Heather Locklear, who always looks so glam in all the photos of her I’ve seen, but what can one expect from a mug shot? I think the only one who looked good in a mug shot was Paris Hilton.
Anyway, here’s hoping Heather gets her life back together.

It was a relatively hush-hush wedding for the two in Ryan’s native Vancouver.

No Doubt
The Yahoo home page featured band mates who dated, broke up, wrote/sang about it, and garnered a hit because of it. Being relatively young, I only knew of the Gwen Stefani-Tony Kanal (of No Doubt) breakup. (I don’t really consider the breakup of Sarah McLachlan’s relationship with her drummer husband Ashwin Sood because ultimately it’s only Sarah being showcased.) The post also features Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac, Boy George and Jon Moss of Culture Club, Richard and Linda Thompson, and Grace Slick and Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane.
